He has a solid background in journalism and bags of E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness), having worked for Sky Sports Digital Media, TEAMtalk Media Group, 365 Media Group, Press Association Sport and Planet Sport Ltd.
Simon is a confident and positive operations manager with a proven ability of adapting content within a fast-moving and evolving digital media landscape.
He thrives on building relationships and has developed a strong network across the digital industry in the UK and USA since graduating from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) with a 2-1 BA (Hons) Journalism degree in 1997.
Simon is a successful people manager who provides strong leadership, clear direction and cultivates a positive environment to enable individuals to play to their strengths and deliver their best work.
He created the Sports News Blitz website as a platform for young content creators to showcase their writing talents to employers through internships and placements.

He has commentated on Notts County games for Nottingham Hospital Radio for the last two seasons and has a wealth of writing experience having created content for TheRealEFL, The Nottingham Sport and Vodacom Soccer.
Matt joined the growing sports platform LookSportMedia as a podcast host - and is the driving force behind the Sports News Blitz podcast and social media channels.
