Sip Media sponsorship news: Sports News Blitz gets behind Greyton Roses FC
Sports News Blitz are delighted to announce a partnership with South African football team Greyton Roses FC.
The club, managed by Trevor Kramer, are a community football club based in the heart of Greyton - and they kick off their new season, which you can follow on their Facebook page, with a Nedbank Cup game in two weeks’ time.
A cash injection from Sip Media Solutions and its content brand Sports News Blitz will help to cover registration costs, referee fees and transport to away games, with the club also hoping to have training shirts with the logo on.
Sports News Blitz Co Founder Simon Wilkes said: “I have known Trevor for a long time and he puts his heart and soul into the running and coaching of Greyton Roses FC.
“The Sports News Blitz website and podcast has just launched in recent weeks so we are looking to get the brand out there.
“We have global ambitions and run an internship programme with the University of Cape Town, so we are always on the hunt for talented content creators looking to break into the sports media industry.
“Sports News Blitz is powered by Sip Media Solutions, who provide marketing, design, content, development and social media solutions for brands.
“We evolve, engage and inspire brands and audiences, delivering dynamic digital media strategies.
“We help brands define their vision, mission, objectives and targets.”
Trevor Kramer added: “The Roses was formed out of necessity to service a football-loving community and the progress the team has made since its inception in 2020 has been nothing short of miraculous.
“We won promotion in our first season and now compete in the highly-competitive Hollywood Bets Regional Third Division (the fourth tier of South African football).
“We also have a thriving youth set-up and provide coaching to kids of all ages from the local area.
“Partnering with Sports News Blitz is a massive coup for the Roses, as we rely largely on donations and sponsorships.
“We look forward to growing this relationship that will help the club nourish the undoubted talent that exists in the greater Overberg region.”
